Also called Points Game, Quota Points, Dogfight, 36s, Quota (36-Point Personal Quota), Personal Quota
Beat your personal point quota (36 minus handicap) by the widest margin.
Each player's quota is 36 minus course handicap (8-handicap = 28, 18-handicap = 18). Everyone plays their own ball on gross score and collects points per hole. Add the points, subtract the quota, and the biggest positive number wins; hit it exactly and you push. In standing groups the quota becomes the average of your last three point totals.
Common scale: bogey 1, par 2, birdie 4, eagle 8. Some groups use eagle 6 and double eagle 10 instead; double bogey or worse is 0 everywhere. Winner takes a pot or is paid per point above the field.
Everyone chases their own number, so the whole field is live until the last hole.
