How to play

On par 4s and 5s a tee shot in the fairway earns a fairway point; a green in regulation on any hole earns a green point. Track points hole by hole. Solo, it becomes a ball-striking tracker: out of 14 fairways and 18 greens, how many can you hit? In a group, most points wins or only a sole achiever collects the bet.

Scoring

One point per fairway hit and one per GIR (max 32 points in a round). Group version: pay per point of difference, or a flat pot. Skins-style version: a fairway or green counts only if you are the sole player to hit it; ties carry the pot forward.

Variations

  • Skins-style sole-achiever bets with carryovers
  • Add putts and penalties (Best at Something)
  • Fairways Minus Putts for a single number

Tips

  • Best among similar handicaps
  • Solo, log your numbers to find what to practice
  • Layers easily onto Nassau or Dots

Rewards the tee-to-green game even when the putter goes cold.
