Let a coin, a die or your last score decide which tees you play from.
Heaven or Hell: flip a coin on every tee; heads means the forward tees (Heaven), tails the back tees (Hell). Play match play against a partner or stroke play against par by yourself. Tee Box Shuffle: everyone starts on the same tee, a birdie moves you back a set, a bogey or worse moves you up, a par keeps you where you are. Agree in advance which markers count as front and back.
Normal match or stroke play; the fun is in the yardage swings. Solo, compare your score to par from the mixed tees. Related solo challenges: play the tips all day as a tour-pro simulation, play the red tees and try to break par, or drop back 20 yards on every approach.
