Make par without ever being in the fairway (an Arnie by another name).
Named for Seve Ballesteros' escapes. Most common definition: par on a hole without touching the fairway, identical to an Arnie. Two alternate definitions exist: par after hitting a tree (a Barkie) or par after driving into the wrong fairway.
1 unit from each opponent; usually played with other junk since it pays rarely. Groups playing both Arnies and Seves should assign the alternative definition to Seves to avoid double-paying.
